THE GAP

The National Black MBA Association community serves a high-level audience of business professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, students, and emerging leaders. Communications connected to this audience must feel polished, intentional, and credible.

The challenge was creating materials and messaging that could support a professional environment while still feeling engaging, modern, and aligned with the mission of business growth and economic advancement.

This was not casual creative work. It required a more refined communication style — one that could speak to ambition, leadership, opportunity, and professional excellence.

Spit Laugh Media supported the development of professional-facing creative and communication materials designed to strengthen clarity, polish, and presentation.

The work focused on making information easier to understand, more visually aligned, and more appropriate for a business-centered audience. We helped shape materials that could support leadership conversations, event communication, stakeholder engagement, and professional brand presence.

The creative direction balanced sophistication with accessibility, ensuring that the materials felt elevated without becoming overly complicated.

THE SHIFT

A promotional brochure for LOT emphasizes leadership values such as believe, lead, achieve, and conquer. It features group photos of students, a color palette including navy blue, royal blue, orange, burgundy, and green, and various graphics and text about leadership development programs.
